Chili
Ingredients:
2 1/2 lbs. ground beef (I mix in part ground pork if I have any)
1 c. chopped onions
1/2 lg. chopped green pepper
2 (1 lb. 12 0z.) cans chopped tomatoes
2 (8 0z.) cans tomato sauce
4 t. chili powder
2 t. salt
1/4 t. cayenne pepper
1/4 t. paprika
4 (15 1/2 oz.) cans kidney beans, drained
2 T. brown sugar
Instructions:
Cook ground beef, onion, and green pepper until meat is brown and onion is tender. Drain. Mix with remaining ingredients. Cook in crockpot until warm: 4-6 hours.
Or on stove:
Heat all ingredients except beans to boiling. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 2 hours, stirring occasionally. Stir in beans and cook until heated through.
